We are all very familiar with the classic COVID symptoms. We’re now dealing with different variants and oftentimes it’s very difficult to distinguish COVID from any other respiratory virus, whether it be influenza, rhinovirus or enterovirus.
During our current state with the variant, the symptoms we see more commonly are things like a sore throat, nonproductive cough, or even a runny nose. What we see less commonly with the current variant is changes in taste and smell. So, again, remember that COVID does have various overlapping symptoms with other respiratory viruses.
