If you’re above the age of 65 years old, it’s very important to get your booster. At OhioHealth, we are seeing senior citizens, who are not up to date with their COVID-19 vaccine, being hospitalized with COVID-19. Meaning that they have not received their booster.
According to the most recent CDC information, roughly only one third of those 65 and above have received their bivalent booster. So please, if you’re above the age of 65, or you have family members and you take care of patients above age 65, please remember to give those vulnerable individuals their booster. You can also get your flu shot at the same time.
